Pet grooming is an essential part of keeping your four-legged family members healthy and happy. If you are getting ready for your very first pet grooming appointment with your furry friend, you might have some questions. We are going to try to cover some of the most asked questions about pet grooming to help you get ready.
Vaccinations
Grooming salons will ask you to provide them with a copy of your pet's rabies shot records. Be sure to visit your veterinarian to update any shots before going to a grooming salon. It is recommended that you wait at least 48 hours after a shot is administered to make an appointment to ensure that there is no soreness.
How Often Does My Pet Need Grooming Services?
In order to help your pet feeling their best, it is recommended that dogs receive routine grooming care every 4-6 weeks. This helps with keeping coats tangle and mat free which can lead to skin problems if left unattended. Since your pets’ fur and skin will be looked at during the grooming process, having your appointment at the veterinarian is even more beneficial as any conditions can be taken note of quickly.
How Much Does It Cost?
Prices are typically based on your pets breed, the condition of its fur and skin as well as the length of the appointment. The best way to find our prices is calling the office and requesting an estimate of services.
What Are Your Hours?
Our clinic is open from 7:30AM to 12:00PM Monday through Saturday and from 2:00PM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday. We are closed Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.
