Pre-Op Prep

Before any surgery, we conduct thorough pre-surgical exams and diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging, to assess your pet’s health and reduce risk. During surgery, your pet will be closely monitored using advanced anesthesia and vital sign tracking equipment to ensure their safety.

Anesthesia

Your pet’s safety is our top priority during any surgical procedure. We use the most advanced and safest anesthetic options, particularly for senior pets or those at higher risk. Throughout the surgery, we closely monitor vital signs with modern anesthetic equipment, ensuring maximum safety every step of the way.

Stitches and Aftercare

For most surgeries, we use dissolvable stitches that are placed under the skin, so no follow-up removal is needed. If external stitches are necessary, they’ll be taken out 10 to 14 days after the procedure. Post-surgery care involves keeping an eye on the incision for any swelling or discharge, limiting your pet’s physical activity, and avoiding baths during recovery.

Pain Control

Just like us, pets feel discomfort after surgery. We focus on effective pain management, using a combination of oral anti-inflammatory medications and pain-relieving injections, tailored to your pet’s specific needs to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery.
